Hi Annette and Cindy S,

Thanks for your tips on how to make the thumb. I wish I'd known about this method earlier. I am
still struggling to get these bound off stitches on to my needles. Perhaps I will set aside this
first mitten and make a second one using your suggestions. If that works better for me, then I will
have to rip out the first mitten and re-do it.
