hi,
yes that is right. blue is generally a boy's color.
I'm not sure why she says it’s a girl. Boy is blue; its traditional. I heard
the boys bathroom in elementary school was blue.
The traditional color for girl is pink.

Ive never seen color so it is a bit of a mystery for me.
I wanted to have a baby boy color for a blanket I was going to knit.
My 14 year old daughter picked out a color only for many people telling me
it is not a baby color.
So my husband goes with me and we get a color
My mom visited and saw it on the table and informed me she hoped it was for
a girl.
I am working on a hat for a baby boy I hoped, mom says it is a girl color.
Most say a boy or unisex.
It is a blue with some purple.
How confusing!
