Barb, none of the stores around here stock s-lon cord. It's basically nylon 
cord and that is available in stores. Try asking for satin cord.

Could it be the beads are going on the thread rather than the leather cord? 
Don't know, just askin'. :)

I don't have the supplies yet either.
