[Nfb-krafters-korner] The dropped stitch query

I wish I could find a teacher and use the 1/2 inch needles just to
understand what knitting is. At one time only men knitted, weird, grin.

Hi knitters,

I still drop stitches, but not as often as I used to do. I really should
take the time to play with the bulky yarn and needles to examine the way
the stitches are formed so I can pick up stitches.
For some reason I can sometimes pick up stitches in loom knitting but never
in needle knitting. Not yet anyhow. One of the valuable things I've learned
in this group is that it is possible to learn to do things I never thought I
could do.
