We had 10 inches here in Columbus, at the airport, which is the official
place for measuring. I fell down on Tuesday evening but was not hurt, just a
bruise on the back of my thigh. Must have been something hard under that
snow. Then Wednesday morning we had freezing rain. Now it is all hard and
crusty outside. Our schools have closed for two days. I still have a nasty
cold. Starting to wonder if this stuff will ever end. Made a beany hat for
daughter this week. She wanted it longer than the class pattern so I added
several rows of loom knitting to it. After the brim I did 30 rows then the
decrease. She loves it.

Well here in Stratford, CT we had another 8 inches of the white stuff and it
was the heavy white stuff.
 
Can you belive it the kids had no school on Monday and Wednesday due to the
snow and they had a delay opening this morning with a early dismissal due to
teach conferences!  I asked the Princesses if they have school Friday if it
will be a whole day orr what!

How do you get around on all that ice?  Years ago, I tried  to go to work,
when I shouldn't have and I slipped on a sheet of ice and fell  half way
under a cab!
Our Metro Access for handicapped uses cabs and  vans.
