Hi lindy, Yes, me too, as I said in that earlier post there must be lots of
ways to embellish our craft work using a computer, as you mentioned, labels,
templates and things. If such a class came up, I'd be interested in joining
too. Very best. Valerie

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Crafting and Computers

Hi to all,
Expanding on a comment in another post, I would be very interested to
explore the subject of how to use our computers and printers in our crafts.
I have used the Internet a lot over the years, mainly to find and print
activity and work sheets and some craft-related stuff for my children. Of
course some sites are more accessible than others in this regard. Things I
have been wondering about include digital scrap booking and printing labels,

patterned paper and templates like those that can be cut and assembled to
make boxes or other crafts for kids.
I have one or two sites I use and like a lot and that I might have mentioned

on here before, but this might be a great idea for a Monday night chat or
even a class.
Some info on how to format and print labels would be very interesting and I
was thinking that many of us might use this skill to label our products and
gifts to others?
I seem to remember doing the very basics in a long ago computer training
class, but nothing beyond the basics were taught to us.
I will think a bit more and would love to hear other's thoughts on the
possibilities to use computers and printers to enhance our crafts from the
perspective of a blind crafter.
Lindy
