[Nfb-krafters-korner] knitting question: decreasing with the seed stitch

Hi knitters,

 

I am knitting a hat on the loom and have made the body in a seed stitch pattern. Now it is time to
decrease and I realize that doing so will disrupt the pattern. Is it possible to keep the seed
stitch pattern while decreasing? If so, how? If not, should I return to a plain knit to begin the
decrease? The small brim is in plain knit.
