For those who are interested in taking Cathy's lanyard class in September,  
this is the perfect time to go to your local school in your neighborhood 
that  has their play ground hopen for the summer and purchase some of the 
different  color gimp.  They usually sell it by the yard or arm lenth and you 
can get  different colors and the metal clips/keychain to put on it.  
 
They do sell the gimp in the craft stores, too, but you have to purchase it 
 by the roll.  So unless you plan on making a lot of keychains/lanyards, 
you  might want to get it at the play ground.
 
Cathy, please comment on how much they should get of the gimp.
