Hi Debbie,

Glad you are interested in learning to knit on a hand loom. It is a very
popular craft around here. Jill is a wonderful instructor with a caring
nature and great sense of humor.
As for the loom needed for this project and where to get it, this is a bit
tricky. I have one myself but browsed around online to see if I could find
you one. These looms are round and have 12 pegs that stick up from a base.
The problem is that from what I have seen online recently it is not so easy
to find these looms anymore. There are many flower looms, but many have
different shapes and sizes and peg spacing and this only complicates the
situation because it is difficult to get just what you need.

The best loom I have found to recommend to you is from Cindwood Crafts. This
woman has all her looms made by hand and they are of very good quality. She
sells a loom with 15 pegs that will be a little bigger than the one many of
us will be using, but it will still make a nice sized bell. I have many of
these looms in other sizes and highly recommend them.

You can also go to a craft store and look for a hand knitting loom that is
round and has only twelve pegs, and you may find one. Either way, here is
the link to what Cindy calls the newborn slipper loom. You can make tiny
baby booties with it as well obviously.
