Hi Valerie,

The shrugs are the simplest thing to do.  They are only a rectangle 
crochetted with size N hook and using Lion Bran Home Spun yarn.  If you can 
chain and single crochet, then you would have no trouble making a shrug.  I 
am working on my third one now.
