[Nfb-krafters-korner] OT hearing aid accessory

We had a driver for a while who had horrible hearing.. I introduced him to
my audiologist, Tom. He really liked Tom and liked the great prices on
batteries. I hope he went to Tom for adjustments. This precious older man
had no idea he needed to go back for adjustments. Buy the way he took me
several times to see Tom. He just did not get the connection I suppose. 

For the deaf-blind among you time is running out quickly for the FCC
program. Contact your VR Counselor or the Helen Keller rep near you and get
in the program. They bought me a loop and a mike for my hearing aide. They
won't buy hearing aides, but they will buy things that make your life
easier, i.e. Iphone (you pay for the plan), computer with speech, Braille
displays, A connector thing to the TV, Note taker. Anything to enhance
communication.

This little business came through VR. They paid for a lot of equipment and
my hearing aide so I can better communicate with my customers. Similar deal
here to what Annette said with regs. So it isn't a big deal. I didn't get a
tax number as I haven't made enough to pay taxes. Oh trust me I would love
to, sy, someday.

On the Social Security web site it has all sorts of information to help you
with your business and planning. It is geared, I think anyway, to help you
succeed step by step. They even have a local person that can talk you
through your business plans, and advise to keep you within the laws.

I may have to sic you and Jake on my father. We are constantly telling him
to go back and have adjustments. One pair he had they automatically made
something like five follow-ups. He didn't pretty good with those and I don't
remember why he now has the ones that he does. I am pretty sure this pair
came from the VA and it is horrible to work with regarding appointments but
right now he might as well not be wearing them. We want him to get them
adjusted so we can know for sure if it is a hearing problem or a mental
problem.
