Dear readers,
It is with much sadness that I need to stop publishing the Blind Post. My current hand, thumb, and wrist pain, and other physical difficulties, are making it impossible for me to continue. 
I apologize for the suddenness of this decision, but I am not even supposed to be using my hands for tasks like typing on my keyboard. 

I have severe carpal tunnel in both wrists, and arthritis in both thumbs, as well as other structural damage in my fingers. I may be having several hand surgeries, over the next few months, and do not know what the outcome will be. 

I have appreciated the four and a half years that I have been working on this newsletter, and I thank all of you for your support and for your wonderful correspondence.

I will keep the website up through October, at which time I will either put it in hibernation, or completely close it down.

I again thank you from the bottom of my heart for your loyal readership. My writers have been so incredibly wonderful, and written such informative articles. I know you will find them on other platforms in our amazing blind community.
I, too, may show up on other lists or venues down the road. One never knows what the future holds.
