Hi all,

Thanks for the memory of making potholders on a loom. Wow, that takes me way
back to when I was very young. I remember that the looms were square and had
pegs on four sides. I remember placing  loops across the loom from left to
right all down the sides,, then turning the loom a quarter turn and then
weaving loops of a second color through the strands already on the loom and
attaching the loops to each peg on opposite sides. <smile> I even remember
how the loops would pop off the pegs which were very smooth and did not have
rounded tops. Some loops were just too short and others too long. but what I
cannot remember is how the project was completed? Perhaps the camp
counselors finished it off for me, or perhaps my memory fails me at this
critical step.
Hmm, well it was fifty years ago!
