Lauren,

For the purpose of learning how to control the speed of the sewing machine,
you can use a sheet of paper instead of fabric. You can do this with and
without thread. I would not use paper thicker than printer paper, and I
would use only one layer.

HTH,
Annette

Hi,

I got myself one of those K Mart specials for my birthday so I hope that now
someone can help me figure out stuff. The first thing is that there is
thread on 3 different kinds of thingies. Spools, cone-looking things and
bobbins (I think). When do you use which type of thread-holder? How do you
label the colors? (I know how to label the spools but not the bobbins or
cones. I am hoping someone in our craft group can show me how to use it but
I'll have to get some cloth first.

Thanks

Lauren

Blessings to you in the name of Jesus Christ "Then Peter said unto them
repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost," (Acts,
2:38.)
