Using 4 ply worst yarn of your choice of color prepare the following: This
is for a medium open rose. Leave a tail of about 6 to 8 inches for sewing
later and make a slip knot and chain 24, and stop, foundation row is
complete.  Use a hook at least G,J or H or bigger.
