Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] Upcoming loom knit mock crochet stitch hat

Hello all,

With all the talk about loom knit classes, I'm really excited to let you know that I am teaching a loom knit class in September. I'll paste the description and the link for you to go sign up below this email.
The class will teach you how to make the mock crochet (or 3-step) stitch on a round loom. We will be making a hat from this stitch, and I will teach you how to bind-off using the modified draw string bind off. This is my favorite method of binding off hats so definitely sign up. This is a more intermediate class because you need to know how to cast on, e-wrap, purl, and work in the round. I will spend a little bit of time describing how to do the stitches, but I will mainly focus on the mock crochet stitch. I hope you'll all sign up for the class.
:)

LOOM KNITTING: Mock Crochet Stitch Hat with Modified Draw-String Bind-Off

start date: September 10, 2015

description: This class will be taught via an email list. It will teach you how to make a hat with the mock crochet stitch, otherwise known as the 3-step stitch. This stitch creates a very pretty loose and lacy pattern. You will also learn how to bind off the hat using the modified draw-string bind-off method.

supplies needed:
1. Round loom of any size.
2. Loom hook.
3. Yarn of any weight.
4. Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

additional comments: If you have any questions about the supplies list, please let me know. This is a versatile stitch so you can adapt it to any loom and project.
