Funny I never capitalize when writing letters for addresses. Weird.
Sometimes these programs are just quirky.

Joyce, the letters have to be typed exactly as written as you probably
already know. When I've added addresses, sometimes there has been uppercase
in which case, I then either have to redo the name or arrow down the list.
I've never found another work-around. The only other thing you can do is go
to your contacts and try first-letter navigation. I've not done that because
it's time-consuming in my opinion and only because I'm lazy! Grins!
