[Nfb-krafters-korner] Cindy Z, question

I had some hair scrunchies at my table and only sold one or two, I think. Maybe those people did not come all the way around. I did not have them hanging up, like the key chains. I was not able to get another holder. That could have been the problem. What a shame, or you could have sent them my way.

Cindy Z
Thanks for taking this and doing the organization of it. I appreciate your report, and if we have enough roses from this year we do not need to send more this coming year. That is a great total for a dollar or two price, you all did good. I also liked hearing what we should do next year. Like your towel suggestions and what sold best, I think that is what we need to work on starting in January like your towel craft and the scrubbies and haird supplies. I will ask who on list, did these and hopefully set up classes in the winter to teach them, as they went over so well. Thanks for your report.

First of all I want to thank everyone for making and donating craft items for this year's convention. I appreciate all your hard work whether your items made it to convention or not. We will sure use them next year!!!

I felt that the sale of craft items went very well. I don't have the exact numbers here at work, but want to think we earned about $75 on $1-$2 crafts.
The roses did sell well, but we had a lot of them. The color choices were nice. The scrubbies someone made sold immediately and I had several others asking for more which I didn't have to sell. The baby hats went quick as did the key chain crosses made from plastic canvas.

I had people asking for tea towel holders and I have a fairly quick pattern that is made with a rubber band hair tie that I will teach for next year.
These would be easy to pack and when the person got home they could add their own towel.

I felt bad that the hair scrunches didn't make it to convention. I do think they would have some, people were asking for them.

Cindy,

Thank you for the great job you did at convention in getting ready the things for sale and the Make and Take it. When you are rested and have a minute, I would really appreciate knowing how the sale went, what items sold well, what did not, and what we should or should not do again. I hope I speak for those who helped out and donated their items and time in asking to know how much money was raised for this project. It does not have to be detailed but I would like to make some notes and ideas to know if we should do it again next year and what to look at for items. Please contact me on list or off list at my email below. We di the items but you kept it together. Thanks.

Terry Knox
