The looms are basically different brands. The Knifty Knitter looms were a
good quality loom that unfortunately is not being produced anymore. It is
possible to find them online from Amazon and other places. Many folks love
these looms and grab them up when they can find them. 
The Boya looms are a brand of a store called Michael's here in the states.
These looms can also be purchased from Amazon and other places online and
are still being produced. There is some difference of opinion as to which
looms are better. for example one complaint about the Boya looms is the fact
that Boya looms have been found to have broken pegs on them. But either loom
will serve the purpose.
