Welcome to the group Heddie.
Do you happen to know Lindy? She is also from south Africa and is an active
member in our group. She teaches origami classes and does a terrific job
explaining to us how to fold paper to make many interesting and useful
items.

It sounds to me as though our group will be a great place for you. do check
out all of the classes we now have available and join one and give it a try.
