I would teach the class, twice, if there is enough interest.  In the evening for those in the US and if the teacher is from the US, teach it on the week end for those out side the US.  
You could also do an e-mail and a phone class.

Capetown is six hours ahead of East Coast time and Sydney is 14 hours ahead of east coast time. So… and 8 PM class in the East Coast is 2 AM in south Africa and 10 AM in Sydney the next day. A 6 PM class on the East Coast would be midnight in south Africa and eight  a.m  in the morning the next day. I don't think you will ever be able to find the perfect time to do a class that would be suitable for both countries. And you have to think about the people who work either on the West Coast or in those countries. Perhaps the best option is to have a weekend class entitled Midnight Madness with Needles.
