[Nfb-krafters-korner] picking new times for phone classes

We have had teachers in the past willing to do classes at different times, like later in the evening.  We have teachers that want to teach earlier then 8 PM.  We have tried teaching Saturday afternoons and Sunday evenings.  

We need to give everything a try and get more teachers involved from all around the world.

I like telephone classes as it is good to speak with all of you.  Some of us don't get out a lot or don't have any one that is interested in my crafting and it is good to share these things with someone that knows what you are talking about.

We need to stimulate this list and the classes.  Our classes have dropped off and we need to see what can be done to make things better.  I thought there was a need for Krafters Korner and I am looking for those to step up and put some life back into Krafters Korner.  

We need to do some more of the beginner's classes and not slip ahead and teach the folks that attend the beginner's classes several times and are not beginner's any more.  We need to offer more advanced types of projects to stimulate the folks that have been around here for a while.  We need to teach beginner's what we have learned in the past and we need more classes.

We figured out all we need is 6 classes a month to equal the classes we taught last year.  We have 3 classes that each month the teacher teaches Origami, dish cloth, knitting stitches.  Starting in june we will have the prayer shawl classes starting up.  So we are not even getting those couple extra classes.

June 1 is not that far off and we don't have 6 Christmas in August classes booked yet.  I do not think we have any classes booked in July, I may be wrong as I think Cathy gave me a class, but I am not sure if a class proposal is in as of yet from the others I have spoken to regarding the Christmas in August classes.

Capetown is six hours ahead of East Coast time and Sydney is 14 hours ahead of east coast time. So… and 8 PM class in the East Coast is 2 AM in south Africa and 10 AM in Sydney the next day. A 6 PM class on the East Coast would be midnight in south Africa and eight  a.m  in the morning the next day. I don't think you will ever be able to find the perfect time to do a class that would be suitable for both countries. And you have to think about the people who work either on the West Coast or in those countries. Perhaps the best option is to have a weekend class entitled Midnight Madness with Needles.
