us.

Terry, I have made a couple of prayer shawls and honestly it doesn't matter. 
I personally prefer the multi colored ones. The group I was with for a while 
used Home Spun yarn. These are super soft and cuddly because of the yarn. 
You put them on and you feel like God Himself is giving you a hug. Hmm, 
maybe I should make one for my Atheist friend, hmm.

I will be using a sport yarn… But really you can use any type of yarn.
I do not have the yardage, but remember the pattern is simple and you can 
make the length of the shawl either short or long I say if there is a type 
of yarn you want to try go for it even just a couple of skeins would work
