Hettie, I make good use of the freezer when it comes to most baked goods. 
It's the only way they don't vanish immediately. :) This is particularly 
true of anything made with sweetened condensed milk!

Please do share your Christmas cake recipe if you have a chance. My mother 
says she used to make one that sounded very similar, but it was before my 
time, and I have not seen a recipe or sampled one.
