When you miss a class, keep note of it and ask that it be tought in a year or two.  There is always room for repeats.  Missing a class does not mean it will never be tought, again.
Also, if you need to miss a class, please let your teacher know.  If Joyce had known you had a test or what ever, maybe she would have been more flexible.  It is only kirtius.

Actually, this policy has been in effect for years. Students should not get a pattern if they did not participate in a phone class. most classes are more than one night long and when this is the case, an instructor would agree to send the pattern if a student missed one of the class nights but not all of them. with this being a one night class there simply was no lee-way. so you were there or not there. Also, I will point out that the class was offered at two different times during that day, so there was flexibility offered for a time choice.
I personally feel that Joyce did all she could to make the class available and followed the procedure that was set up years ago.

Please don't take offense Minh, I simply wanted to point these things out to you and anyone else who might have been feeling upset. All Joyce's Halloween classes will be handled in the same manner so you and others can keep this in mind when signing up for a class.
