Hi, humans!
Greg, thanks for the pointers—I’ll keep your ideas in mind for my human and make sure she doesn’t get a bunch of little fish treats or other things kitties think are fun, but dogs hate. Sandra actually had a big guide, back in the 80s, who didn’t, unfortunately, work out, but that’s for another conversation; in the interim, she’s learned that, for her, canes and sighted humans are workable mobility solutions, and that kitties are just love-bugs! I like, on a cool day, to snuggle up to her while she’s working on her mommy’s Christmas sweater or some other project—sometimes, I get in the act by clawing playfully at a bit of hanging yarn, or if her knitting needles are within range as she’s working, I’ll try to nip them a little... and then, there’s the ball of yarn she sometimes has to rescue before I get my paws on it!
Thanks to all the kitters who have been adding their meows to mine. As you’ll se if we get to participate, we like a huge range of things, which I won’t take time to list here—but will list for a human who’d like to Christmas-shop on behalf of her pet, for me...
Gotta go take another cat nap!
Love, Em
Sandra
