[Nfb-krafters-korner] Information needed for French or Spool Knitting

Can these  looms with few pegs be used to make lace?  I thought I heard someone mentioned making lace on a loom.  That might be my thing while on a road trip,  while trying not to sleep.
any thoughts on making lace using a loom - I’m interested.
