Henry,

There are several folks here that use Facebook.  I find it easy to use it.
I have joined a few groups and get a small amount of email as you can pick
how you want to receive it.  I get the most from my daughter, Katie as I OK
that I get her emails and she sends things out to a list of folks which my
email is on her list.
 You can definitely find a lot of information and Jill has pointed some
finds she has shared.

I do like that you friend folks which you can pick and choose and I think
the ones I have friended and friended back to me is the ones I get the
birthday announcements from.

I don't spend that much time on Facebook and I have not tried the picture
description as of yet.

Sorry about that folks.
I guess that we have to join the 21st century, and join Facebook, even
though my Voc Rehab teacher says that it is not to blind user friendly.

I wished her a Happy Birthday when she called me on her Birthday.

I blame you for not announcing it on this list.    Terry isn't on Facebook
and that is how most of us know when there is a Birthday.
