[Nfb-krafters-korner] Facebook, blind friendly?

Henry & all,
I have a facebook page, but I do not find it very blind friendly.  My friends list is short mainly family & friends. Not everyone we meet is a friend! So I get a facebook email from say, my daughter, Amanda; stating newphoto or even a status update and that’s all I know - who it is from and either photo or status or maybe even a comment.  I think if this is done using a I phone then no other info is given.  I can click on view or facebook and try for more info; it is a real hunt & peck taking a good 20 minutes.  So I just email or message my daughter and ask her what her facebook thingy was about; she replies with info. I find this last method faster & less frustrating.  For photos, I let hubby know there’s a new photo maybe he wants to look, up to him.  Really I don’t care about photos.

I do think it is great that facebook is increasing time and effort in improving accessibility.  One rainy day I will spend some time to see what I can do on face book.  Right now I have a lot of yarn calling my name.
