We are a friendly group of talented crafters with each one willing to give
some extra help or advise.

This is the place to send a note and ask for help.

Since I over see everything that goes on here at the NFB Krafters Division
if you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please do not hesitate

We have over 150 folks on this list and folks willing to help you.

I try to keep a variety of classes that are sparked by your conversations
here, at chat or discussions with each other.

There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to bring you classes,
chats, information, where to find or buy supplies.  The website is a new
working project and constantly changing and improving on it to make it work
for you.

We have teachers that are part of all of this and we have lots of students
that can help you when needed.  We are not trying to put anyone off and get
around to them when it is convenient.  We need each other to help each other
out.

I understand your point. But, when a student is ready and wants to learn, if
we tell them sorry you missed it and maybe we'll teach what you need some
day, that student is lost because of a feeling of frustration. It took five
minutes of my time to answer the specific question she posed. This issue
needs to be addressed and solutions sought instead of putting people off. We
tell them we'll help you when it's convenient and then we sit back and
wonder why people come and don't stay or never come in the first place.

Glad to hear you are helping her. It is pretty difficult to put together
everything I do to teach weeks of classes and then to try to repeat it from
the beginning for one person.

The question she had has already been resolved. Those upcoming crochet
classes would have been only frustrating for where she is at right now.

Don't give up yet.  There are folks here that will reach out and help you
thru this craft or any of them.  I think you are anxious to jump on and give
it a try.

We did just have a class.  We don't have any crochet beginners projects
booked in right now, but I will check to see if maybe a class will be coming
up soon.

There are 3 crochet classes planned for June, July & August.

We are booking classes in now end of May, June, July and accepting our
Christmas in August classes.

Hang in there, you just found us and if you have something special you would
like to learn this is the place to bring it up so teachers will start
thinking and searching for a special project.

Thanks, Joyce. I'm honestly just not sure myself anymore. Found some old
crafting supplies at home, but if I can't even understand the basics of a
crochet chain, then I'm not going to do well with any other craft.

Will keep googling anyway though.
