When you go to the Book Share home page and sign in, you use the same email
address and password that you signed up with no matter what computer you're
on.

You mean you can be on a different computer than the e-mail you are using
for your account?

Why didn't she tell me.  I told her I wanted to access my account from home
and work.

Why can't you access Bookshare from 2 different computers?  As long as you
know your user name and password you can access your Bookshare account.  If
you want to put books so you can access them from multiple computers you
could use something like Drop Box or Google Drive.
