very cool.
I prefer the wooden stylus.
Has anyone gotten the slate book in electronic braille format?
Thanks for the recommendation, Sandra!

I forget exactly what it’s called, but if you go onto braillebookstore.com, you will find its name and even operating instructions. It runs a little over $30.00, but for me, the convenience was well worth it. Since I have used a regular slate from the age of 11, I still sometimes catch errors I’ve made by thinking of the conventional slate dot configurations, but not enough to go back to it!!! What I love, among other things, is that it comes with a Braille eraser and a hollow-point Braille stylus, stowed in a compartment on either side of the slate. So far, I have tried it on the thick 8x11 paper, but it also has slots for labeling tape! So, check it out—it comes highly recommended by me. Because you roll the paper into it, it also takes a full page, BTW, though I have used it for index cards, on which I make temporary labels for clothing that I roll up into an unlabeled garment, so that, while I’m sewing in the metal or Teflon tape color tags, if there’s an interruption, I can return to putting the permanent labels in later. Sorry, I know that was a grammatical war zone! Hopefully you were able to figure it out!
