Facebook works OK with the screenreader.  Once you get on and get your list
of friends and decide how you want things to work for you, all you need to
do is sit back and read your emails like me.  As I am hook up to a few and
get in my emails what my friends are writing on Facebook.  Now if you are
like Jill use to be...living and looking and searching all over on Facebook,
then you can find yourself dlued to the computer.  So it is your choice.

I ordered my grandson a beeping ball from Maxie Aids.  The poor description
caused me to order the wrong one.  I added a couple of little things to the
order so I could get free shipping.  Well, it turns out that I have to pay
to send the wrong ball back, and if I want the right ball from them I'll
have to pay the shipping on that.  I spoke to someone about how unclear the
description was, and she couldn't have cared less.  I asked for her
supervisor, and she wasn't any better.  I certainly will try not to order
from them anymore.



I thought you might be interested in the following info.  Because my
son-in-law is quick, he looked on a bunch of web sites including amazon.
There is a web site called braille book store.com.  The ball was $10 cheaper
than Maxie aids with free shipping.  They also have lots of cool stuff.
They had wooden versions of board games and many logic puzzles.  They have
braille directions for a large number of games in either grade one or grade
two braille.  We didn't look at the whole site, but I plan to go back
another time.
