Good Morning Rebecca, welcome to the group. Do you like to be called
Rebecca, or Becky? The reason is that we have a Becky on the list.
My Girlfriend Terry P and I are 2 of several looomers here on the list, and
we'll be more than happy to help you get back into looming when and if you
want to.
As for iyoiur question about the Randolph Shepherd Act, and crafting, that
is a good question. I thought that that only applied to food venders. Check
with your local NFB chapter, or Blind agency.
You could try to sell your products at craft shows or fairs.
I hope that this bit of information helps you.

Sorry for the typos, the computer Gremlins are at it again . Lol.

Hello,

My name is Rebecca and I am legally blind and enjoy
scrapbooking. Sometime ago I started loom knitting, put it down because of
other things and am now wanting to get back into it. I have a hat
started, and in time would like to make scarfs, dishcloths and potholders.
In looking at the archived class topics the pony bead candle, banners and
ornaments, and safety pin beading interest me. I also have thought loom
weaving would be fun. I need to take things in little steps. With the
holidays, I don't see taking any classes before January.

A curiosity question, I am wondering how blind crafters go about selling
their crafts. I am thinking especially how to find outlets of where to
sell crafts. Does anyone know if a blind crafter can qualify for the Ran
doff Shepard Act?

Thanks!

Rebecca Strite
