Hello annette,

My idea was to add these things tot he toolkit if they were found to be appropriate.
I’m glad of your recent experiences with Skype and Jaws, as I don’t use Jaws due to switching to a Mac.
I do have access to a PC and Jaws 16 or 17, along with a copy of NVDA were I to help.
I can confirm that Skype is still quite accessible on the iPhone as I use both a personal account and business one on it on a daily basis.
Of course, these things should be tested before we dream of holding a class or anything serious. It’s also important that everyone feels comfortable using the tools.
As it is, international students could call the teleconference number using Skype.
Hangouts works fairly well on the Mac. In fact, I recently did a teleconference and shared my screen using it.
It’s accessible ont ehIphone as well.
Should we learn that these tools are not suitable for any reason, then they are not the right ones for the job.
If people want to explore this further, I’d be happy to help s I can and will accept any in return.

May we teach and learn from each other,
Liz
