My niece has my mother's treddle
Machine.  I remember sitting on the floor and operating the petal while
Mother sewed my school dresses.  Such wonderful memories.  I also remember
my brother receiving a spanking b because Mother found him, at two years
old, on top of the machine with the thread wrapped all around him.

Antique Sewing machine
I read a blog post tonight where a woman showed a picture of her
great-grandmother's Singer sewing machine. She also showed a picture of the
receipt for its purchase in 1899. It was handed down to her from her mother
years ago. She says it doesn't work anymore but considers getting it
repaired. Quite amazing huh?
