Here are some body butter recipes that my friend Susan Austen shared with
me. She makes and uses these and says they are wonderful.

This is a Holy Grail moisturizer.

Ingredients:

1 cup Coconut oil

2 1 teaspoon vitamin E

3 few drops of favorite essential oil for fragrance.

Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl. NOTE: Do NOT melt the coconut
oil first. It will only whip up if it is solid. Mix on high speed with
wire whisk for 6-7 minutes, or until whipped into a light airy
consistency. Spoon into a glass jar and cover tightly. Store at room
temperature or in refrigerator. The butter is a little solid, but not rock
hard.

CONUT BODY BUTTER

The sweet tangy combination of lime and lemon essential oils lifts the
spirits and makes the dream of lying in the sun on a tropical beach. Add a
small amount of olive oil or castor oil . Another is aloe vera gel. The
aloe vera is soothing to the skin and great for treating acne, wrinkles and
scars. The lemon lime citrus oils have antiseptic, antiviral,
antibacterial, disinfectant and astringent properties. The skin on the
face will absolutely glow after using this combination. This facial and
body butter costs pennies on the dollar compared to department store high
priced creams.

Ingredients

Makes about 1 cup of whipped coconut oil.

½ cup coconut oil

1 Tablespoon olive oil or castor oil

2 Tablespoons aloe vera gel

3 20 drops each lime and lemon essential oils

4

Place all ingredients in mixing bowl. Note: DO NOT melt the coconut oil
first. It will only whip when solid. Mix with an electric mixer on high
with wire whisk 3-7 minutes or until whipped into a light airy consistency.
After 3 minutes check every minute until reaches right consistency. Spoon
into glass jar and cover tightly. Store at room temperature or in
refrigerator. Tip: A blender or food processor will not work with this
product.
