Kim, I don't think there are special rates anywhere for shipping crafts.  So
you have to figure out the best packaging, and the company that is most
convenient for you.  Hopefully, you will receive some other responses from
those who have done more shipping than I. You have to consider both weight
and distance in finding the shipping rates.

Hello, I was wondering how anyone handles mailing orders for their products.
I just started bracelet-making as a hobby, but have friends or relatives out
of the area that are interested. How do you send them through the mail
without it costing an arm and a leg to ship it? Or is there an easy way to
ship through Fed-Ex or any other mailing company?Also, how do you handle
money exchanges? Personal checks or money orders?  Any suggestions are
appreciated. Thank you.
