[Nfb-krafters-korner] Need some ideas on borders for crocheted blankets

I've mad three panels and want to border them with another color before I put them together.  I'm not following a pattern, but have created it my self.  I've created the measurements, and it's all double crocheted.  I need to get some ideas on which stitches will look better to do the border in.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
