Knitting is with two needles, if you mean crocheting, it uses one needle.
You can make many of the same items with both but they look different.
Latch hooking is used to make decorative rugs. You usually purchase a kit
that has the pattern on the material you use for the backing of the rug. It
is easy for a blind person to latch hook but the patterns are not available
in braille or print. You complete the pattern by looking at a picture of
the backing. I have done some latch hooking but I had to ask a family
member to tell me each row as I went.
