Love this topic of Braille. I started learning Braille in the Head Start
program. I then went on to learn it at the Ohio State School for the Blind.
I use grade two. Am not fond of the new UEB system but will learn it because
it is not going away. I use it for all aspects of life. When writing I can
and often do use a slate, can use a Perkins but find it heavy and bulky for
short work, can use the Braille Note and Braille Sense. I often tell people
that my house is an equal opportunity discrimination house because some
things are just labeled in print, some just Braille, and some are both.

Good Morning to you Nella and everyone, I have been a Braille user for about
16 years or so.
I am a grade 2 user, I don't like the new UEB system at all, it's too
confusing I pretty much use Braille for everything like writing out
patterns, labling yarns and other items. I love to read a good book as I
always was and always will be an avid reader.
