Hello loomers,

Terry P gave us mathematical formulas to use on how to determine how many
pegs to use on a project if a ¾-inch gauge loom is in the original pattern.

I contacted Cindy from Cindwood crafts concerning this same question and
thought I’d share it with all of you.

Adjusting a loom gauge to a pattern

Hello Cathy,
You would measure the distance of the cast on of the loom you have the
pattern for, and then measure the same distance on the other gauges and
count how many pegs are in that amount of space. 3/8 would be twice as many
pegs as the 3/4, 1/2 inch would be 50% more than the 3/4 and 1/4 would be
double the 1/2 inch approximately if you don't have the other looms to
measure right away.

Have a great day!!
