I happen to have  several things in my home that are finished items that I
have made, but like Nella I make and give away a lot of my things and hoping
to soon sell some of my things, too.

I have a flannel quilt that to curl under it.  I have a table cover on my
kitchen table that my 22 Mom made for me and hand quilted.  

So I am working on my embroidery machine doing up some totes, bibs, aprons
and I have some dish towels and 2 sweat shirts waiting for me to learn
enough to put some embroidery on them.  I have some short sleeve T-shirts
for the girls to do up for them for the Spring.  

I will finally be going for my first embroidery class on my own machine
tomorrow morning.  I want to know how to do the T-shirts & sweat shirt
embroidery and just can't wait to do them.

I don't have any of my soaps left as made them up and between those I gave
away and the ones the girls took home with them, they are all gone now.

Joyce is in the process of being hand quilted and I laid that out on my
couch, but I haven't sat long enough -----Original Message-----

Wow, I can't believe that it is already Wednesday.  Thinking up weekly
questions is going to exercise my brain.  Fortunately Annette was kind
enough to share some questions with me, so I don't have to do all the
thinking.

 

How many of you are using hand crafted items, made by yourself or others in
your daily lives?

 

Do you wear any handmade clothing?

 

Do you have any decorative items such as paintings, sculptures, baskets,
rugs and such around your home?

 

What about quilts, blankets, curtains and afghans?

 

Maybe I will get some good decorating hints from these questions.  I'm
looking forward to reading all the responses.
