I use to work for a group of doctors [neurologists] and the one who was the
Chief Neurologist in  one of the major hospital was from India.  He was very
particular about being on time.  So if one of his patients were late, I
would here his lecture about do you show up late at the airport?  If they
were too late, he would make them reschedule their appointment.

I respected him and he respected me, as I made a lot of money for this
group.  He didn't show much respect to the secretaries in the office.

I find that kind of behavior to be very, very annoying.  I have better
things to do than wait for someone for hours.  It is just rude and
inconsiderate.

Hi Nella,

Yesterday, I spent all day waiting for someone to come with a paper for me
to sign.  He was going to be here "in just a few minuts".  We started
waiting at 9 and he got here sometime around 4 or so.  They kept calling
saying he "should be there in just a minute".  <g<

Yes, I know, once again I'm a day late!

 

I spent a great deal of yesterday waiting in the Doctor's office and just
wasn't in the mood to post this by the time I got home.  I think I will
start billing my Dr. for the time I spend waiting in his office.  I just
need to figure out my hourly rate. Lol

 

I did have some time to do some knitting and to play with my new IPhone.

 

If you like television I don't recommend the channel the Dr. shows in his
office. Lol

 

So I'm curious about what other things are you all doing while you're
crafting.  Do you read audio books, watch television or listen to music or
podcasts?

 

What kind of books, T.V. shows, music or podcasts are you enjoying?

 

Do you like to have conversations with friends or family?

 

Maybe you like to day dream or sit out in your yard and listen to birds.
