Henry, I know for sure if you are looming, I would get five skeins of the
yarn you mentioned. You will have plenty left over, as you are pretty much
just edging with the fifth skein.  For crochet six probably. With the six
you don't need to edge in my opinion, with Cathy's pattern she just taught
us. 

Some crochet stitches are yarn hogs, like the shell stitch, for example.
Tunisian crochet is another yarn hog.

Terry and I aare very eager to get the right color of yarn to make an afghan
for the back of the sofa.
How many balls of Bernats Soft N chunky do you think that it will take to
make an afghan for a 6 foot long sofa?

Thank you Cathy for a wonderful class. I was telling her that I have seen
this pattern and wanted so much to make it someday, but I was just chicken
to try. I kept thinking the peaks and valley would confuse me. Cathy made it
