It it is difficult to explain these bags by email but I will try. There are
details on these that were covered and explained at the chat. If you have
confusion or need help please contact me. We made Halloween treat bags and I
covered making the larger gift bags for all sizes I will start with treat
bags. Try one first to get the feel of them and then when you understand
they work up very quickly.

Treat Bag

1 piece copy paper

Scotch tape

Glue stick

1 full box of Jello or pudding or any size box of this size

Scissors

1.Place your paper on flat surface in portiat size, meaning long sides to
left and right and short top and bottom.

2.Place you box of Jello the same way, not left to right but top to bottom.
Place the box about an inch or less from the bottom edge of your paper. You
will know in a moment if you have this placed correctly.

3. Reach for the left side of your paper and fold over the jello box to
about the middle and make a rolled, small piece of scotch to hold the paper
in place. Caution, do not make this to tight when taping in place as this
tape will be removed shortly when removing box.

4. Reach for the right side of the paper and fold on top of left that you
have taped down. It should cover the left paper or you have your jello box
placed incorrectly. After folding and and making sure it covers, open paper
again to the right. Take the edge of the right paper and fold the edge over
about one fourth inch or so to make a flat seam from top to bottom. This
fold should fold in toward the center of the paper and lay flat.

5. Take your glue stick and run the glue down the entire fold flap you made.
Now take the right paper with your created fold and fold it over the left
taped paper and adhere in place. You now created a tube or sleeve with the
jello box in the middle. Again, not to tight you have to remove this box
later. Crease on each side using your jello box to make your creases..

6. Go to the bottom inch and like wrapping a package, fold each siden in
toward the middle. End with the larger toop fold and then open one large
flap and place your glue stick on the inside and stick the bottom together.
Your bag should now stand on its own when you stand it up.

7.Go to the top of your paper now, and if it is too top heave, cut off an
inch or more, if you like. Now, take yyour scissors and on each corner at
the top cut a very small cut, maybe one half an inch. All four corners and
fold into the bag all flaps created. You may glue these with your glue stick
if you like.

You treat bag is complete. Here a few tips for this bag. You make take light
cardboard and cut to size of the bottom of your bag to make it sturdier. Use
tongs if your hand is too large to reach into your bag and remove your jello
box and your tape or give out jello for Halloween. Use a hole punch around
the top, about one inch in and thread some orange and or black ribbon around
andtie in a pretty bow to place a gift in. Place stickers on the non seamed
side for treat bags, or make a sugar and water paste to adhere a candy
pumpkin to the front. These bages make wonderful Halloween cookie bags for
the office instead of candy. Purchase cookies or make them and place a
couple in tissue paper and place in the bag with a sticker on the top folded
down to close. There are so many ideas to make these small bags.

Gift bags

These are made the very same way as directed above with a few exceptions.

Use any kind of paper, gift wrap, to comic book, magazines or white paper
with your children's art desin on the front. Making it is large enough to
cover your box or glue two pieces together to make bag.

2.Pick your size box from jello to ceral to rice or shoe box.

3.Make your bag as directed but when complete measure in about 2 to 3 inches
on the top and place two holes, using a hole punch and cut curling ribbon
for the length of handles you want. Braided or single and place end of
ribbon into holes and knot ends inside bag so not to put through or tape
ribbon to hold. Do this in front and back of your bag to make two handles
and bag I complete.

Making a matching gift card by taking plain index card and cutting same
amount of matching paper and glue sticking to card when folding over, make a
hole and attach with matching ribbon. Personal gift card. In the bottom of
bag, cover your light cardboard with matching paper and you designed a
complete bag.

Sorry you missed this there was so many more great ideas and suggustions and
I cannot print them all. If you have any question pleas let me kinow.
