[Nfb-krafters-korner] Want To Know Wednesday 10/18/17

I'm with Terry,

I never thought of cleaning my tools for crafts. I keep them in their own
assigned places, and it would be a very rare thing for any tool to get
dirty. My yarn is in bins, and I always use thos reusable grocery bags for
projects. I am extra careful when working with white or very light colors,
because my dog is black and my Siamese cat has lots of black fine fur. I do
ask someone sighted if the yarn has stayed clean before using a light color.
If it isn't, and it almost never happens, I just throw it away.

I have cases and drawers for different craft supplies. I try to keep
interchangeable knitting needles in their original case, when not in use. I
find it hard to keep circular needles in their original cases. When my
office was moving, I was helping with recycling! I collected some Velcro
clear plastic pockets for a note book. I am in the middle of putting my
circule needles in these pockets, by size. I also have my extra long
cables, here, for my interchangeable needles.

With projects, I like to keep the project in a canvas bag, along with its
yarn for the project. This keeps the item clean and is easy to grab, when
on the go!
I have my small mini looms in their own box, all my loom hooks and crochet
hooks in their own boxes.
I have a case for my beading tools.

I have never thought of cleaning my items. I usually wash my hands after
eating anyway, so my work will stay clean.

I have drawers for a few of the brands of yarn, I use. I still am not as
organized as I would like to be, but space is the big problem!!!

Happy Wednesday to all of you crafters out there.

The very talented Becky F. provided this week's questions.

She wants to know:

What do you do to keep your crafting tools in good shape?

What are your tips to keep your knits in good shape?

I feel certain that these topics will get some good conversations going on
around here.

Please share your suggestions with the rest of us.

Also remember that I'm on the hunt for questions and you can get 25 points
if you submit questions that are chosen. The questions must be craft
related and if they have a specific answer you must provide the answers. I
will send you an email letting you know your question has been chosen and
will give you credit when I post Want To Know Wednesday.

You can submit questions by emailing me at jellybeanfarm at gmail.com

Nella
