Good luck Theresa.  They will get you on your feet as soon as possible, but
everything takes quite a bit of energy at first.  When I had muy hip done
last year, people were staying from one to four nights in the hospital, but
it is nice to get out.  If they want to sent a public health nurse to check
on you for a month or so, she can be helpful.

Hey all,
Many have asked about surgery details. It will be this Friday morning at
Dartmouth. I am having a total replacement of my right knee. Doctors hope I
will be released on Saturday, but they want us to stay near the hospital
over the week-end in case of allergy complications.
Recovery is at least 8 weeks. It gives me lots of time. To work on some
crafting projects. I have gathered all my scrap yarn andI want to make
several granny squares of all kinds...if you have any fun patterns please
pass them along. 
Thanks for asking about the surgery and I am sure Ken will send updates.
