Theresa, I am so sorry people are trying to frighten you, the very time they
should be supportive. Having your knee replaced is a long searching for
information, deeply thinking and counseling with others and your doctor. It
is not made lightly.

You have been chosen from the foundations of the earth to be God's child.
Greater is He that is in you then he who is in the world. You have the God
who created you, who has carved you on the palm of His hand watching over
you. Have confidence and be strengthened knowing God is with you. He will
never never no not ever leave you nor forsake you.

"Rest and trust in the Lord moment by moment," our dear sister in Christ
Gertrude would say.

Let Psalm 23 give you the peace you need.

Hey all,
Many have asked about surgery details. It will be this Friday morning at
Dartmouth. I am having a total replacement of my right knee. Doctors hope I
will be released on Saturday, but they want us to stay near the hospital
over the week-end in case of allergy complications.
Recovery is at least 8 weeks. It gives me lots of time. To work on some
crafting projects. I have gathered all my scrap yarn andI want to make
several granny squares of all kinds...if you have any fun patterns please
pass them along. 
Thanks for asking about the surgery and I am sure Ken will send updates.
