To make the owls you cut out felt for the eyes, triangle top hat flap, wings, beak and feet.  

They are just glued on.

I have two kids who live next door to me. To entertain them when they came to visit me I asked them to collect pinecones. I now have over 100 of them.
so, how to I make a pinecone owl or pinecone anything else for that matter.
The only thing I know how to make with pinecones is a wreath and these cones are too large for a wreath frame.
